William Hilton – John Clare (1820) – National Portrait Gallery, London, NPG 1469

John Clare (b. 13th July, 1793; d. 20th May, 1864) was an English farm labourer and poet. Anal sex, the heteronormative fantasm against heretical love

I recently read an interesting study by Andrew Calimach on the ancient Greek custom of pederasty, the pedagogical and erotic relation between an adult man and an adolescent boy: Pinning Anal Sex on the Greeks — A Millennial Slur. He starts with an ancient libel: Europe’s Judeo-Christian civilization has constantly, under the label of “sodomy”, identified pederasty with anal sex; more specifically it was always pretended that the adult erastes sodomized his young eromenos. Eva, fille adorable et robot défectueux

This is a slightly extended French translation of an article in Pigtails in Paint.

Eva est un film espagnol réalisé par Kike Maíllo et généralement considéré comme de la science-fiction. En apparence il traite de robotique, on y voit plusieurs robots animés remplissant divers rôles, de réceptionniste à animal de compagnie, mais pour moi cela semble de l’ostentation. Il y a néanmoins un aspect poétique en eux, car ils peuvent être désactivés par la phrase « Que vois-tu quand tu fermes les yeux ? » CONTINUE READING…
